[Val is] flexible in all the right ways - open to fresh ideas, to constructive suggestions, to new ways of doing things. But in my experience, it's a rare designer who can set aside ego and so graciously and practically accommodate a client's concerns and input when the situation calls for it.

Working with Val Cox has been an absolute pleasure and something that I
would do again in a second. Not only did she design an amazing logo for our
theatre company, she did it with grace and diplomacy, never letting myself
or my partner feel like we weren't being heard. She also designed our
poster for "The Laramie Project" and it would be hard to find a more eye
catching design. She was able to get the feel of community and intimacy
